Look at you; you're still here! You thought you wouldn't make it this far. Your income didn't suggest you would still be standing. The numbers you crunched up in the imaginary device of your head didn't help either... but you're still here.
Your cute self made it through!

Flip Side

There are no words for the past six months of this year. It seemed that everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Your finances may not have added up; your education, relationships and other facets of your space may be out of balance as a result but be assured that the past is not an accurate predictor of the future! Cheer up!

No!

You say, Mr. Inspirational "if I didn't meet my goals, or since what I thought would happen didn't happen, does it mean something is wrong with me or is there something I am not doing right?
I can't answer that, but I know enough about God to tell you that when He says 'no', it doesn't mean 'never', it simply means 'not now'.
Believe me when I say that some of the things we believe for, we're not adequately prepared for. You don't want something you lack the capacity to handle - it won't be a blessing; it would be a burden!

Pain

Unlike what we have been informed, pain is actually a blessing. Pain is the flip side of power. The pain you seem to go through is part of a plan - God's Plan. His Plan is what you call purpose. Your pain is a veritable platform for God to show Himself in ways you can't begin to imagine. His Strength attains full expression in the midst of your weaknesses.

The Benefit of Hindsight

One of the blessings we have but may not be conscious of is the ability to look back. Not as Lot's wife though. Looking back here is the context of taking stock, studying your timeline and appreciating your journey. Whenever we go through stuff, it hardly ever seems enjoyable but when we connect the dots...

When Joseph was hated, sold into slavery, falsely accused and consequently incarcerated, he didn't particularly enjoy it but in hindsight he said: "you meant it for evil but God turned it around for my good!" Almost congratulating his brothers for a job well done!

When David spent his youthful days as a fugitive, turbulent kingship and other calamities, he didn't enjoy it but in hindsight he said: "it was good that I was afflicted: what a statement.
Or is it Paul, who endured every kind of pain imaginable, from being whipped with the Roman Cat, to being ship wrecked, to being beaten to a pulp and left for dead. In hindsight he wrote: "count it all joy, when you fall into diverse temptations".
Sometimes, you just have to look over your shoulders and see how far you have come!

Don't let things get Messi! If there is any day you feel like quitting, it definitely should not be the day of adversity because your strength is measured in these times. Don't give your detractors the satisfaction of seeing you throw in the towel. Use that towel instead to wipe the sweat off your face and the tears off your eyes and continue throwing your punches in that ring baby! That's what champs do!
Greatness is not necessarily defined by what you have accomplished but by what you survived!
I envy you! You're stronger than you think!
