One of the beautiful concepts about life is that change is constant. People, things, places et al are constantly evolving from one form to higher forms, simple to complex, small to big, great to greater. It is however desirable for these changes to be progressive in nature.
In the preceding verses of the text, the Israelites moved according to the word of the Lord, not on their own. In the third verse, God announces that they have stayed too long on that level, it was time to move - FORWARD!
A great man by the name of Fela Durotoye asserted: "it is not only desirable to SUCCEED but it is more desirable to be SUCCEEDING!"
No matter where you may have reached in life, there is a place called HIGHER, BETTER, BIGGER. Don't be content to stay put at one level of life when God has deposited the potential for more in you! Mr. Joseph, there is a better place than Potiphar's house - it's called the Palace!
Moving to the next level is not exactly as easy as it sounds - there are serious contentions and battles to be fought. These come in various forms. We have the Pharaohs, the Goliaths, the sons of Anak, the Philistines and a plethora of other militating forces.
All these are trivial issues when compared to the main deal - MINDSETS.
Giants are no longer PHYSICAL, they are now MENTAL. The Bible calls them STRONGHOLDS.
The three lepers did what "able-bodied" men couldn't do because of a different mindset. David did what warriors could not do, for the same reason, mindset.
It's no mistake that the first step to reaching your next level is to REPENT. Repent isn't a religious word but it simply means "having a change of mind". Life is in stages and as different as our faces are, so are our expectations.
Just know that whatever your NEXT LEVEL represents, you will get 'there'!
Brace yourself because something is about to happen!!!

Have yourselves an inspired life!
