Ahmed: "His Time Has Come"

He only meant to show his teachers his ingenuity by bringing his homemade clock to school - unknown to him, the sequence of events that would follow showed that his time had come.


Ahmed, the 14 year old boy whose digital clock was thought to be a bomb, found himself being arrested by the police instead after teachers reported him to authorities.
The hash tag #IStandWithAhmed trended on Twitter like nobody's business, social media was buzzing and the world got behind him.

US president Obama, Hilary Clinton and Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg were among notable figures that rallied around him. Ahmed has also received invitations to intern at Twitter and Reddit, offered a seat at the Google Science Fair and a scholarship to NASA's space camp just to name a few - all thanks to his teacher!

Imagine if his teachers had applauded him, we would not have known him but it took a less pleasant circumstance to usher him into a new phase of life.
You see my friends, just like I wrote on the last post, God has to use all types of circumstances to get you there. It took a wrong suspicion by his teachers to get Ahmed into global limelight - something all his loved ones and people who wish him well may never have been able to do for him!

Ahmed's story is no longer about his clock rather it's about a boy whose time has come! Take encouragement from Ahmed's story and declare to your situation: "no matter what I go through, this will surely end in a praise!"
