God is not the CEO of Walt Disney Productions, Warner Brothers or Universal Studios - He is a Miracle Worker and not a magician! He is not a Steven Spielberg with an Oscar in Directing.
With God you may not experience special effects or camera tricks! He is not a J.K. Rowlings so don't expect His storyline for you to be nominated for an Academy Award. He is not a Tom Cruise with some gymnastics by a stunts double or a Daniel Craig with some coy antics.
He is GOD!
What i am trying to extrapolate from the above allusion is that when you say you trust in God, you don't go back and prescribe to Him the manner through which He does what He said He would do for you. This means that your life may not necessarily follow the pattern of a fairytale movie you watched - ouch! Not everyone is going to be a graduate at 25, not everyone will get married at 30, not everyone will come to the earth with a silver spoon in their mouths [some of us may have to buy one for ourselves], not everyone will be employed in multi-national corporations - some may prosper by their skillful crafts and choice handiwork - some will even create employment for others!
So don't get mad at God [which is unimaginable] or get frustrated with your poor self because you are judging your progress or success with someone else's.
The popular psalm 23 says: "the Lord is my Shepherd". It did not say the Lord is our Shepherd. However, i am not in anyway denying the brotherhood or communion in the Body of Christ but David here shows that he knew God PERSONALLY and that God deals with us INDIVIDUALLY.
Even if you find an identical set of twins with genetic similitude, what God has for Taiye is not what He plans for Kehinde!
The time it takes to build a skyscraper is not the same as for a bungalow!
CALM DOWN! NO SHAKING! JUST KEEP TRUSTING GOD!
