At PUSH with friends

One of my goals for this year was to participate in specific trainings and self-development workshops. In the course of the year I have attended a handful but today I write about one that gladdens my heart.

Iron Sharpeneth...

I was sitting with Matthew Adedoyin at his office sometime ago and he was sharing a part of his journey which included his heavy investments in himself particularly regarding Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and it rekindled a fire in me. I then looked at many of even the people I considered mentors had at some point taken NLP courses. I saw the benefits - how it helped people become peak performers and deliver better results. It was inevitable - whenever the chance came my way I would grab it with both hands.

PUSHing

As an ardent listener of Innocent Minds on radio, I was looking forward to PUSH. For people like us who are young and aspiring - most of what we do is intuitive and instinctive. I discovered in NLP that there is a science, a methodology and a "meta-programme" to such things.
I wasn't disappointed when Mr. Innocent Usar started sharing certain principles and concepts that align greatly with my core beliefs. Words cannot aptly capture my experience. To know about the operations of the different faculties of the mind. It was amazing to learn about the different filters of the mind, how goals should be ecological, how habitats develop habits and how one can give different and empowering meanings to our life experiences.

Butterflies

I am looking forward to signing up for the NLP Certification Classes. Praise Fowowe, Bankole Williams, Walter Samuel and Sunni Malo all came through with their individual insights. Not forgetting to mention that I met with great friends who desired more out of life as well.
I am so grateful to Innocent Minds International Consulting for the experience. I strongly recommend NLP to people who desire more from life.
I can't wait for classes to begin!
