Young people all over the world are becoming more conscious of the things around them. From politics, business, sports, religion etc. The fact is that half of the world's population is under 30 years. Yet the inclusion of young people in matters that concern them is abysmal!

This therefore necessitates conversations. What is the world not seeing in its young populace? Are we the architects of our own situation? Going forward, how can we better articulate our opinions?
Join Youth Empowerment And Remodeling School (Y.E.A.R.S.) and a host of other young leaders as we initiate conversations on this as we celebrate the United Nations International Youth Day 2016. The theme is "Youth Leading Sustainability".

In an all-access interaction, contribute your two cents on ways of advancing the proliferation of young people in decision-making institutions and spheres.

Mark Zukerberg is a shinning example of what young people are capable of doing. He has not only dominated communication through social media, he now sits in sixth place on Forbes List as a result. How many more of him are out there who just need an opportunity to showcase themselves? How would we know if we don't give them platforms?

It's time for young people to take responsibility for happenings around them. Youths are the leaders of today not tomorrow, because today is the tomorrow we talked about yesterday.
How can you explain the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development being headed by a person who is over 50 years old? How will he/she be touched with the feelings of our infirmities?

Are we thinking futuristic? What happens to our world by 2030? Are there shades of the Malthusian Theory coming to the fore? Is climate change a reality or hoax? All these will be highlighted. It's time to rethink our collective future!
