When we book a ticket for a flight, we assume that the pilot is a competent hand and the aircraft is in order. 90% of us who board airbuses have NEVER seen the pilot before! We only hear a soothing voice from the cockpit saying: "...fasten your seat belts; we are ready for take off..."
We even fall asleep during the journey because we TRUST the pilot.
For those of us who do commuter vehicles, i am yet to see anyone who asks a driver for his driving license - you just assume that he knows all about the dashboard. Some of us who also do the very risky motorcycles ["Okada"] never know the rider from Adam. Even in arithmetics, once we punch in numerals into a calculator - we never question the result it shows because in our own knowledge, it is almost infallible. We stake our success in high profile tasks like degree examinations on a man-made device!
However when it comes to God [The Good Shepherd - Whose threefold dimension is to direct, provide and protect], we suddenly 'get smart'. We start prescribing to God the methodology we wish for Him to apply in our lives like Namaan. Instead of TRUSTING Him; we PROBE Him - Ouch! That is how God feels when we doubt Him. Imagine Bill Gates' wife doubting his ability to foot her 'bills' [no pun intended]. Wouldn't she be admitted into a Specialist Hospital with the quickness?
Learn, understand and appreciate the Integrity, Infallibility, Indispensability and Invincibility of God's Words! Sky and earth will pass away but not a jot of His eternal words will!
