Religious People; Killers!

The Bible has expressly identified certain spirits: Lying, familiar, unclean, infirmity et al. One that is not overly mentioned is RELIGIOUS SPIRIT! Do you know that it was NOT the sinners that conspired to kill Jesus? It was the Bishops, Deacons, Priests and Elders in church! Religion so blinded their eyes that they killed the very Messiah they had been waiting for!

Jesus did not fit into their description of a Messiah. They thought the Messiah should have been born into the house of a noble, He shold always look sanctimonious, He should always be in His I-am-holier-than-thou mode and not hang out with prostitutes, tax collectors, publicans and sinners. There was no comeliness with which they could behold Him. This is simply because He did not fit into their [religious] mould.

Religion will make you see a blessing coming and think it is a curse. It will make you rebuke God and call Him a devil [ask Peter]. Religion will give you the form [similitude] but make you deny [refuse to operate in] the power thereof.
This is why i always advice people to be TRANSITIONAL [dynamic, flexible and open-hearted] and not TRADITIONAL [stereotyped, one-size-fits-all and it-has-to-be-this-way mode].

Don't ever have a biased or predetermined mindset when you walk with God because most times His ways do not make sense to the human understanding. The last three letters in the word 'renewing' suggests that it is a continuous process. Keep renewing! It might take 10 hours, 10 days, 10 weeks, 10 months or even 10 years but keep renewing!
