Impossible is nothing! They usually say something is impossible - until it's done. Greatness is never an exclusive preserve of any race, gender, religion or profession.

Most people say it's a man's world; Mrs Awosika is one of those super women that proves them wrong - by becoming the exception.

In all fairness to women, history and culture has not been particularly fair towards them. Until recently women couldn't even vote! In certain countries, they are not allowed to own landed property, drive, speak in a public assembly, vie for certain political offices. The list goes on and on.



Overtime all these evils have made women cower into their caves, shudder in fear of being successful. They are taught only to be domesticated (of course there is nothing wrong that) and worse, seen as objects of emotional needs.
Dream! Dream!! Dream!!!

Go beyond the restrictions society has placed on you. God created us male and female. None is inferior or superior to another, they are just individually unique. Women are usually described as the 'weaker' vessels. However 'weaker' in that context really means 'more delicate' not necessarily 'lower' as the society portrays them.

Never allow other people define your possibilities! Marriage should not be only vision women should conceive! Sow! Imagine! Aspire for more!

Today, Mrs Ibukun Awosika has become the first female chairperson of First Bank of Nigeria Holdings Plc since its establishment one hundred and twenty one (121) years ago!
