Chike Okoli Centre For Entreprenueral Studies

Now that is how to spend invest time! After spending a large chunk of my day listening to great men, i think know it was well worth every second of it!
Chike Okoli Foundation in conjunction with Chike Okoli Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies hosted policy makers, the academic community, captains of industries, stakeholders and the general public to its 5th "From Rags to Riches" Seminar which held earlier today at the Main School Auditorium, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The event which witnessed a plethora of eminent personalities was a huge success as the Foundation brought the best hands to speak on their respective specialization.
The event which held to commemorate with the World Poverty Day was organized to share vital INSIGHTS with prospective and existing entrepreneurs.

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Anambra State - Mr. Peter Obi [CON, Okwute Ndi Igbo], Chairman, Board of Directors, COF - Dr. Stella Okoli, [OON], the Vice Chancellor of NAU - Prof. B.C.E. Egboka [Owelle, FAS], Director, COCES - Prof. E.A. Egboh and other prominent guest were in attendance. The Occasion was chaired by Dr, Theo Okonkwo while the resource persons were: Mr. Chibuike Aguene [Director STARTUP HUB, Nigeria], Engr. Ajulu Uzodike, OON [MD/CEO CUTIX Plc], Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye, OFR [MD/CEO Juhel Pharma Ltd] and Prof. Greg Nwakoby [DVC Admin, NAU]. The current running mate for APGA's gubernatorial candidate in the state, Willie Obaino and erstwhile lecturer at NAU, Dr. Nkem Okeke had to sneak out of his campaign train in Onitsha to come and address the participants. Other guests were also in attendance while those who had conflicting engagements sent credible representatives.

I learnt many things but these words have somewhat become indelible in my heart:

Chike Okoli Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies was set up in memory of Late Chike Okoli - an aspiring entrepreneur who lost his life to an undetected coronary artery disease. He died five days after his 25th birthday. He was the son of Dr. Stella Okoli - MD/CEO of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
